The great thing about healthcare careers is that there are short and long-term training options depending on the career you select. For example, you can become a CNA after a few weeks of training and a day of testing for certification. You can train for phlebotomy careers in just a few months. In many schools, it only takes about a year to become an LPN. There are quite a few RN programs that only take two years to complete.
